DWP benefit payments are increasing in April - here are the new weekly rates

The UK Government has confirmed that State Pension and benefits delivered by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) including Universal Credit, Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA) will increase by 3.1 per cent next year.

The payment rate changes were signed off last week in the House of Commons are and will come into effect on April 11, 2022, for people receiving State Pension or benefits through the DWP in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland where corresponding provisions will be made there.
