Three people have been rushed to hospital after a head-on collision with a lorry on a Scots road. Emergency services raced to the smash on Bo'Ness Road, Grangemouth, at around 4.40pm today.
The road remains closed following the incident as one vehicle careered down an embankment after the crash.The injured casualties have been split with some going to the Forth Valley Royal Hospital and others to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.Traffic remains heavy in the area with major tailbacks following the rush hour incident as it is understood dozens of cars had been left stuck on a country road into Bo'ness.A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called at 4.40pm to a road traffic collision on Bo'Ness Road which was a head on collision with a lorry."One vehicle went down an embankment and we have three reported casualties."They were split between Forth Valley Royal Hospital and the Royal Infirmary."Our crews left the scene around 6.10pm."Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
