The move shocked Vernon's followers and former co-stars, with June Sarpong asking: "WTF? Is that real?" Dancing on Ice's Radzi Chinyanganya added: "That is eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepic!!!" Vernon, 48, explained that he had the staggering large tattoo as a punishment for losing a 2012 wager over who would win an American football game.
He backed the New England Patriots to win the Super Bowl - the biggest match of the season - only for the New York Giants to triumph instead.
