Manchester Airport have implemented a series of social distancing measures amid the coroanvirus pandemic. Bosses said they are doing everything possible to allow passengers to remain at a 2m distance from each other at all times.

Earlier this week, BBC journalist Ian White tweeted pictures of people standing closely together while waiting to collect luggage at Terminal One.

Mr White said he had returned on a flight from Barbados, adding: "The shocking scene at Manchester Airport arrivals this morning - no two metre distancing here." A number of measures have been implemented at the airport as British tourists make their way back to the UK.
