The announcement of her diagnosis came on Sunday (February 20). She was expected to continue to partake in light duties. She sent a virtual message of condolence to Brazil on Monday (February 21) to say she was saddened by recent fatal floods. Queen Elizabeth will now decide closer to the events whether to move forward with engagements, including her weekly conversation with Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
