The shocking extent of missile attacks on buses, trains and trams

Buses are targeted by yobs throwing stones, bricks and other missiles twice a week in Greater Manchester, transport bosses have revealed.

Statistics show there have been 107 reported attacks in the past 12 months, Transport for Greater Manchester has revealed, equivalent to almost nine a month.

The startling data highlights Stockport as a hot-spot area, with 30 attacks on buses reported. And last Friday night a brick being was thrown through a train window in Clifton, Salford - an attack which put the driver in hospital.
