direct to your inboxA student who scrawled the infamous ‘petri dish’ message on the Piccadilly Gardens wall has done it again - but this time it’s all in the name of art.The graffiti artist snuck into the Gardens at 2.30am to spray paint the words 'the north is not a petri dish' and 'Full Furloug(sic)' in red in capital letters on the wall.

And following the demolition of the wall last month, they were invited back by the council to write the original message on the remaining chunk.
