'Squid Game' Creator Confirms Next Project, Which Will Be 'More Violent' Than the Netflix Series

Hwang Dong-hyuk, the creator of the smash hit Netflix series Squid Game, is opening up about his next project!

The South Korean filmmaker is currently developing a feature film that he’s teasing will be “another controversial film.” Click inside to read more… Dong-hyuk is developing the movie Killing Old People Club, which is based on a novel by Italian essayist Umberto Eco.

The movie currently has the working title K.O. Club. “It will be more violent than Squid Game,” the director said during a MipTV session on Monday (April 4), according to Variety. Dong-hyuk is also working on the second season of Squid Game and confirmed that he hopes it will be streaming by the end of 2024.
