Parcel courier caught with knife inside Hamilton Sheriff Court
iOS - Android Caldararu, 36, of Townhill Road, Hamilton, appeared at the same court this week.He admitted having a lock knife without reasonable excuse as he made his way into the building last September.The court heard the blade was attached to a set of car keys. It was spotted after Caldararu emptied his pockets during a routine check at the court entrance.Defence agent Andy Iles said his client is a Romanian national who was a circus performer and acrobat until serious injury forced him to give up at the age of 30.The lawyer stated: "He came to Scotland in 2015 and was working as a courier."He had to attend court for a domestic abuse case."He was working nearby and used this knife to cut boxes.
