Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.
The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. variety.comZack Sharf Digital News Director “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone revealed in a new interview with Vanity Fair that their long-running animated series will not return until 2025, which means “South Park” will be skipping the 2024 presidential election between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
The duo said the delay is somewhat “on purpose” because they no longer have an interest in lampooning Trump on the show, but Parker added that they’re also “waiting for Paramount to figure all their shit out.” Neither creator specified on what Parker meant about Paramount, but the studio has been going through a proposed sale over the last several months.
Paramount Global is currently pending sale to Skydance after the two companies reached a sale agreement in early July worth a reported $8 billion.
Skydance claims the deal has an enterprise value of $28 billion, with Skydance itself valued at $4.75 billion. As for skipping the 2024 presidential election on purpose, Stone noted: “We’ve tried to do ‘South Park’ through four or five presidential elections, and it is such a hard thing to—it’s such a mind scramble, and it seems like it takes outsized importance.” “Obviously, it’s fucking important, but it kind of takes over everything and we just have less fun.” Parker added. “I don’t know what more we could possibly say about Trump.” “South Park’s” last proper season was its 26th, and it consisted of six episodes that aired in 2023.
