Sky streaming deal to help St Mirren fans watch behind closed doors matches

Buddies fans will be able to watch their beloved club from the comfort of their own sofa next season. It is widely expected the new Scottish Premiership campaign will start with games behind closed doors, leaving Saints fans unable to get back inside the Simple Digital Arena until the country is better equipped to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.

Scottish Premiership clubs will now be able to live stream matches and sell virtual season tickets after a deal was struck with Sky Sports yesterday.

The SPFL have also reached a settlement with Sky, of around £1.5 million over the next five years, for games that were not broadcast when last season was cut short.
