Sir Rod Stewart visited a popular Glasgow Italian restaurant during his recent trip to Scotland. The Maggie May singer was in town for Celtic's impressive 6-1 win against Hibs and visited a number of landmarks in the city.
The Hoops-daft singer had worked up an appetite after visiting the team's training ground in Lennoxtown earlier this week, as he got down and dirty washing the football strips. The 77 year old went to the training grounds with his youngest son Aiden, 11, and shared snaps from the trip on social media.
Taking to Instagram, he wrote: "Honoured to have visited Celtics training ground ‘Lennoxtown’ with our ‘Hoops’ team @takeleyfc.hoops with @celticfc & @aberdeenfc."After finishing up his chores at the football ground, he and his family enjoyed a bite to eat at Bella Vita on Mosspark Boulevard in Glasgow's south side.
The owner of the eatery, Mimmo Rossi, received a call from Celtic and prepped a private room for 25 people on Sunday in anticipation of the teams and Rod.
