A Morrison's shopper was left shocked when he discovered that a food bank donation pack, which he had purchased for £3.85, contained only a can of sweetcorn and a tin of potatoes.
Raeph Mountford expressed his disappointment, feeling as though he'd been 'taken for a mug' after purchasing the pre-packed food parcel at the Skipton supermarket on Wednesday.
These 'pick-up-packs' are typically bought by customers and donated at the checkout before being distributed to local food banks.
However, Raeph accidentally took his home and decided to inspect its contents. He found it contained just a tin of sweetcorn and a tin of new potatoes - priced at a total of £1.40p - which is £2.45p less than what he had paid for the donation.
