A shopper has spoken of his shock after seeing two birds flying around a shop and 'pooing in the aisles.' Liam Smith, 31, from Stockport had paid a visit to the branch of B+M in Cheadle Heath on Friday evening when he saw the two birds, believed to be pigeons, flying around above him and perching close to the store's ceiling.

And he says he was forced to abandon his shopping after they swooped down and perched on the shelves in the pet food aisle, and he saw what he believed to be bird poo on the floor. "I just wanted to get out at that point and left pretty much straight away," he said. "I have just been diagnosed with an illness and I can't afford to get an infection so I just left." However, he said he tweeted the brand and emailed them afterwards and received no response. "It's disappointing really.
