Rebekah Vardy teared up as she insisted the Wagatha Christie drama made her relationship with Jamie Vardy stronger. The WAG opened up in her first interview since the ruling came in, where the judge sided with Coleen, 36, after she famously accused Rebekah's Instagram account of leaking stories about her private life to the press in October 2019.
In the chat, Rebekah cried as she thanked Jamie for his support throughout it all. Speaking to Kate McCann for TalkTV, she admitted that Jamie found it hard watching what she went through, and added that he had known ahead that she would be subjected to horrible chants.
She explained that she had to stop taking kids to his football games because people were singing horrible things and making horrible chants about her and the case. "As a parent, all you want to do is protect your children," she added, "It's hard for us to deal with the repercussions of the accusations rather than the case.
But it made us stronger. "When Rebekah went to hospital, Jamie was with her and in the toughest times, she didn’t even want to get out of bed in the morning.
