Sheridan Smith fans spot huge filming mistake in new ITV drama No Return

As viewers tuned into watch ITV's brand new drama No Return on Monday evening, fans couldn't help being distracted. The four-part series sees Sheridan Smith, playing mum Kathy Powell, on holiday with her family in Turkey - but many eagle-eyed viewers spotted a different filming location.

Episode one wasted no time in kicking off the drama and Kathy's 16-year-old son Noah, played by Louis Ashbourne Serkis, was arrested within the first 10 minutes for sexual assault.The viewers soon saw that Noah has been accused of sexually assaulting another boy after attending a party.Some viewers were instantly gripped by the first episode, but others couldn't help but point out a rather epic filming blunder, The Mirror reports.Fans of the show pointed out that it appeared to be filmed in Spain instead of Turkey.

Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "Supposed to be turkey filmed in spain lol. Some scenes in studio in Manchester #NoReturn (sic)." Another posted: "Don’t kid is this ain’t Turkey this is clearly Spain! #NoReturn (sic)."Someone else tweeted: "What’s the point of it being set in Turkey but then filming it in Spain, literally makes no sense #noreturn." Another viewer added: "#Noreturn @Sheridansmith1 @ ITV can’t believe you say it’s Turkey when it’s actually Benalmadena in Spain."
