Manchester City are prepared to 'rival' German giants Bayern Munich in a bid to secure the signing of full back Sergino Dest.

The 21-year-old has seen his game time limited since the arrival of new head coach Xavi Fernandez and with the club requiring much needed funds wherever possible, it is thought Dest could be one of the players allowed to leave the club this summer.

Brought in by former manager Ronald Koeman, the USA international has featured 16 times so far this season and could be eyed as potential replacement for ageing right-back Kyle Walker.
