Sea shanty singer Nathan Evans' new track is set to be adopted as the unofficial Tartan Army anthem at this summer's Euros.
The former postie gave his followers a sneak peek of the track, called Home, on social media yesterday and was immediately flooded with calls from Scotland fans saying it should be the song to drive Steve Clarke's boys to Euro glory.
Describing Home as "a song for Scotland", Evans promised to release it immediately after the huge response. The 29-year-old Wellerman star said: "To see people saying it should be the anthem for the Euros is incredible. "It's something I could never have dreamed of.
It's overwhelming. If there's enough demand we'll release it as a single." Scotland square up to Euro 24 hosts Germany in the opening match of the tournament in Munich.Further group matches will see the team play Hungary and Switzerland.
