Lanarkshire MSP calls on government to reassess men's shed funding cut

A Lanarkshire MSP is calling on the Scottish Government to reconsider a decision to cut Men's Shed funding. Monica Lennon MSP, alongside 40 cross-party MSPs have condemned the decision to cut funding to the Scottish Men’s Shed Association following a petition supported by more than 3600 people.

Many men experience isolation, especially older men who may not have a close support network.“For almost 10 years, Men’s Sheds have provided a safe space for men to build social connections, share stories and most importantly, feel less alone.
