The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for parts of Scotland as snow and winds create chaos. The warning will fall into place at 12AM this Tuesday - January 4 - and will remain until 6AM on Wednesday, January 5.
The Met Office has forecast wintry showers throughout Tuesday. The snow is likely to fall over all levels, instead of just on the hills and higher ground.The wintry showers will be accompanied by gusts of wind reaching 50 to 60mph throughout the country.
