Hibs are weighing up a fresh offer from cash-rich Al-Faisaly for winger Martin Boyle. The Saudi side previously made a seven-figure move for the 28-year-old which would have seen his salary rocket towards a life-changing £1.5m a year in the Gulf.
The player had been keen to talk to the club but is understood to have respected Hibs chairman Ron Gordon’s decision to reject the £2.5m bid.
But a move now looks likely following the fresh approach from the Middle East. Football Scotland report that the club had been holding out for at least £3million and they are now "strongly considering" allowing the player to leave Easter Road.
HIbs are in action tonight when they take on Cove Rangers in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup. Record Sport understands Boyle is unlikely to play any part on the game amid the fresh offer from the Middle East.
