The comedian and actor, 8, has been accused of attacks at the height of his fame in an investigation by the Sunday Times and Channel 4's Dispatches.
Four women came forward with claims, with the incidents said to have taken place between 2006 and 2013. Brand, who was a presenter on BBC Radio 2 and Channel 4 and starred in several Hollywood films at the time, strenuously denies the allegations.
On Friday night the comedian shared a video statement denying 'criminal' and 'very serious' claims, which he said had been put to him in the form of a letter and email from an unnamed television programme and newspaper.Comedian Pascoe revealed a group of comics on the UK circuit tried to 'set up a union' to stop 'predators' in the industry, reports the Mirror, and they hoped 'a good enough union' would prevent future predatory behaviour.
