UPDATED: The fallout from the bombshell misconduct accusations against Russell Brand continue. His 2009 comedy special, Russell Brand In New York, has been taken off Paramount+, sources confirmed to Deadline.

The removal has happened in the last 24 hours, as NBC News reported that the special was still available on the platform as of Tuesday morning.

It follows Channel 4 and BBC earlier this week removing TV and audio shows featuring Brand, the comedian YouTube videos losing their monetization ability, his live tour being put on hold and new probes into his behavior being launched.

This is all in response to the Channel 4, The Times, and The Sunday Times investigation, in which Brand was accused of rape and sexual abuse by multiple women between 2006 and 2013.
