Ryan Thomas issues apology and says 'I couldn't do it' as he folds during 'cringe' prank on Coronation Street legend
manchestereveningnews.co.ukRyan Thomas has been left issuing an apology as he couldn't go through with an attempt to prank a Coronation Street legend. The actor was given a forfeit by his brothers Adam and Scott during one recording of their Mancs on the Mic podcast.
During each episode, a quiz sees two of the siblings take on one another and whoever loses takes on a very specific forfeit.
In a video posted to Ryan's Instagram page, Scott filmed the moment his older brother had to phone Bill Roache, famed for playing Ken Barlow in the ITV soap, pretending to be his former character, Jason Grimshaw.
Not only that, Ryan has to refer to 91-year-old Bill as his long-standing character's name. He was seen making the call and nervously pleaded 'Don't answer' as the ringing continued.
