The remaining royals at Balmoral have left the estate to travel to a nearby church to hold private prayers for the Queen following her death at 96.
A party of family members travelled to the nearby Crathie Kirk, on the other side of the River Dee, at around 2pm, two days after the death of the monarch was announced.
It is understood that the group includes Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, as well as their daughter Lady Louise.
They were joined by the Princess Royal, her husband Commander Tim Lawrence and her daughter Zara Tindall. Prince Andrew, who has withdrawn from the public eye following allegations about the nature of his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, was also believed to be among the royals who visited the church to pray, alongside his children Eugenie and Beatrice.
