The Manchester United icon, who is still performing impressively at 39 for both his country and Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, has no intention of retiring anytime soon.
In fact, he has an impressive milestone within his reach - 1,000 competitive goals. It's widely accepted that Pele, often considered the greatest footballer of all time, achieved this feat during his legendary career from 1957 to 1977.
However, while his total of 1,279 is recognised as a Guinness World Record, many of these goals were scored in friendlies, which are not counted in today's era.
