The former Manchester United star, who married his girlfriend Kate Wright back in September 2019 in Turkey, travelled back to the country for the treatment at Dr Emrah Cinik's clinic, reports Daily Star.
A viral TikTok video shows the ace sporting legend getting the treatment done. Rio was heard saying: "I'm here to get my beard sorted out, I've got a couple of holes, a couple of patches.
Getting my hair transplant done. I can't wait to get it done. Listen, if you're ever thinking about getting yours done, this is the place to be." The TNT Sports pundit was really chuffed with how everything turned out.
He even signed a United shirt that hangs on the clinic's wall alongside those from other football stars who have visited. Stars looking their best doesn't come cheap – transplants at Dr Cinik's start at £2,027 and can go as high as £3,271.
