Rhinovirus may be the reason for your cold-like symptoms, according to experts. The Department of Health is asking those experiencing symptoms of rhinovirus to stay at home and isolate, even if they test negative for coronavirus.
According to the expert, those with untreated asthma, COPD or weakened immune system are most at risk of being ill if infected with Rhinovirus.
Doctor Joe Kidney, a leading respiratory physician at the Belfast Trust, explained the groups of people most likely to become ill.
Most people with the virus will develop mild symptoms - much like those associated with a common cold - reports Belfast Live.
