The real estate-themed show Buying London will not return for a second season, after Netflix pulled the plug following its debut run.
Viewers were given a glimpse into the world of high-end property sales in London's most exclusive districts as the show tracked the professional and personal lives of a group of estate agents.
However, after premiering in May, the single seven-episode season received significant criticism. Fans on Reddit have now discussed the show's axing, with many expressing little shock at the decision.
A viewer remarked: "The properties were so dated and not exciting. It made London look a bit pathetic compared to SS and owning Manhattan." Another chimed in, noting the stark contrast: "Owning Manhattan also just made the other companies look like amateur hour as well." One dissatisfied fan said: "The show was disappointing, primarily focused on petty squabbles and showcasing tasteless properties with Americanized interiors.
