Queen of the South boss Wullie Gibson said he is still “haunted” by Clyde’s humiliation of his side at the start of the season.The Doonhamers crashed to a 4-1 defeat in their League One opener at the end of July despite being ahead after less than 60 seconds.The South capitulated as they received a wake-up call at the start of the campaign.Gibson is still irked by that result and wants to make amends this weekend.He said: “I said to the boys in the dressing room that I’m still haunted by the first game of the season when they came here and battered us 4-1 and I hope it still haunts them.

I want to go there and put that right on Saturday.“They’re all big games. I knew when we were going into League One that you’re never going to get an easy game and it won’t be as easy a league as the last time we were in it and ran away with it.“There are good sides in the league and you can see that.
