'Project Runway' Renewed for Season 21, But Getting New Host, Judges & Moving to Different Channel!

Project Runway is continuing on, but making some major changes. The long-running design competition reality TV series will move to Freeform for Season 21 in 2025, the network confirmed.

The host, judges and premiere date for the 10-episode season will be announced at a later date. Keep reading to find out more… “Project Runway is an iconic television juggernaut that perfectly complements the pop-culture spirit at Freeform,” said Simran Sethi, the president of scripted programming for Hulu Originals and ABC Entertainment, in a statement. “We are excited to welcome the original series to the Disney family and reignite the fanbase alongside Spyglass [Media Group] and Alfred Street [Industries], giving viewers the chance to once again share in discovering the next generation of exceptionally talented fashion designers.” Originally hosted by Heidi Klum, Project Runway debuted in 2004 on Bravo.

After five seasons, it moved to Lifetime. In 2019, it returned to Bravo, and Karlie Kloss became the host. Christian Siriano replaced Tim Gunn as mentor.
