Prince William and Kate Middleton 'have no plans to reunite with Harry during May UK visit'
ok.co.ukPrince William and Kate Middleton are not planning on reuniting with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during his upcoming visit to the UK in May, it is reported.The rather frosty relationship between the Waleses and the Sussexes had begun to thaw in recent days with Harry and Meghan reaching out following the news of Kate's cancer diagnosis.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex issued a statement hours after Kate's announcement, saying: "We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace." However, despite these recent gestures, it is reported that Kate and William are not planning on reconciling with Harry and Meghan and it's unlikely they will see Harry when he's next in the UK.
Sources close to the Prince and Princess of Wales have told The Telegraph that with both Kate and King Charles battling cancer, their "Harry problem" is the last thing on their minds.They added that that William "has always done all he can to protect his family," to ensure Kate's privacy and protect that of their three children.
OK! has contacted Kensington Palace for comment.There have been reports of an ongoing feud between the Sussexes and the Waleses, with the two couples not speaking to each other in recent years, with this only worsening following the release of Harry's memoir Spare last year.
And it's thought that even with no immediate plans to reunite, Kate's cancer diagnosis could bring an end to this rift. PR expert Ryan McCormick told The Mirror that while Harry and Meghan's message was short, it seems to show a "positive" sign for their relationship with the royals.
