Prince Harry
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. A new book has revealed Prince Harry's succinct three-word response following a Royal aide's faux pas. The aide reportedly referred to the Duke of Sussex as "mate", leading to immediate regret and an apology for the slip-up.This incident is said to have occurred before Harry's marriage to Meghan Markle in 2018, when he was residing at Kensington Palace with his brother, Prince William, and various staff members.While the staff were generally less formal with the brothers compared to their father, King Charles, they certainly wouldn't have anticipated hearing the term "mate" from a staff member.

Nick Loughran, former press secretary at Kensington Palace, admitted to being less formal with Harry, while it was disclosed in the book Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown that Ed Perkins once received a text from Harry after addressing him as "mate", reports the Mirror.

An excerpt from the book states: "When Nick Loughran worked at Kensington Palace as a press secretary, he would call Harry by his first name, but tended to be more formal with Prince William because their relationship was not so close.
