A new book claims Prince Harry upset the late Queen with his "bitter" behaviour. Royal author Ingrid Seward writes of the previously close relationship between the Duke of Sussex and his grandmother before her death in 2022 but claims she couldn’t excuse some of his actions and the position he put her in.

In My Mother and I, Seward explores the complex relationship between King Charles and Queen Elizabeth as well as the King's colourful life.It contains a number of explosive claims not only about the former monarch and her eldest son but also about the likes of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and even Princess Diana. She also goes deeper into Harry’s very public issues with the other members of the Royal Family, and his “anger” at the British monarchy, as reports the Mirror.

She writes: “He had discovered a way of making himself the centre of attention and that was by dissing his family, about whom he felt increasingly bitter."And she added: “The anger aimed at the British monarchy, his father and step-mother, was totally unnecessary."His anger eventually destroyed his credibility in other areas of his life, and his grandmother, the late Queen, found herself in an impossible position.

However much she loved Harry - and she did - she couldn't condone the way he was speaking about the institution of the monarchy that she had spent 70 years preserving."A number of eye-raising revelations are contained in the new book, which hit shelves today.
