Prince Harry has published private text message exchanges between his wife Meghan Markle and sister-in-law Kate over Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dress.The Duke of Sussex's new book Spare is released today and in the memoir, he claims that the encounter - which ended in tears - was mostly driven by Kate, who wasn't happy at having to wait a day to hear back from Meghan about the dress ahead of the 2018 Royal wedding.
According to The Mirror, he claimed that Meghan suggested bringing Charlotte's dress to a tailor at Kensington Palace but says the idea "wasn't sufficient" and Kate insisted "all the dresses need to be remade".
Before the big day, Harry said Meghan had a lot going on with the drama surrounding her her father, Thomas Markle - which left her "sobbing on the floor".
In an excerpt from the book, Harry writes: "Meg didn't reply to Kate straight away. Yes, she had endless wedding-related texts, but mostly she was dealing with the chaos surrounding her father.
