dailyrecord.co.ukA knife-wielding thug made off with a three-figure sum of cash during a terrifying robbery at a corner shop in Carluke.The masked man entered the Day Today on Lawhill Road brandishing a knife at around 12.40pm on Sunday, April 12.An unidentified man entered the shop and threatened a staff member with a knife before stealing a sum of cash.He then left the premises and was last seen heading in the direction of Station Road.He is described as being in his late teens, around 5ft 5in tall and wearing dark clothing, including an item covering his face.Detective Constable Scott Pollock, from Wishaw CID, said: “Fortunately nobody was injured but the female member of staff was naturally left extremely shaken by the experience.“Our enquiries are now
