Pete Wicks admits 'flashbacks' and 'fear of open water' after horror Celebrity SAS accident
ok.co.ukTOWIE star Pete Wicks faced his fears in tonight’s episode of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins as he was tasked with completing the water challenge - that last series left him in hospital.
Pete, along with the other 13 recruits, had to climb a platform and fall backwards into open water in the final task. But for Pete, water challenges come with bad memories.
In the series that aired last year, Pete jumped out of a helicopter and as he hit the water, Pete was knocked unconscious and the impact also broke several of his ribs.The star consequently had to leave the series - which is why he decided to return this year.
Prior to jumping off of the platform, Pete spoke to the camera where he addressed the incident from the last series. He said: “Last time I thought water would be my strong point and I knocked myself unconscious and I broke a couple of ribs.
