Altrincham can now be fined £100 by the council. Town hall bosses have imposed a Public Spaces Protection Order on all public places in the town centre.This includes parks and streets, but does not include public places connected to pubs, bars and restaurants.The order means that anyone caught drinking booze in a public place could be fined £100.Trafford Council said it has been imposed to ensure people can socialise in a 'responsible and safe manner' to stop the spread of coronavirus.In a post on Twitter, a council spokesperson said: "We're reminding everyone socialising in the centre of Altrincham to do so in a responsible and safe manner to stop the spread of coronavirus."We have imposed a Public Spaces Protection Order on all public.
