While the second season has not yet been confirmed, Pachinko creator and EP Soo Hugh spoke to ScreenRant about expectations for a follow-up – and she revealed how long the series will run! “The show is four seasons long, so it was never supposed to be a limited series.

So the idea is we’re going to watch these characters grow up as well, so that storyline is coming,” she said of a character from the book that hasn’t appeared in the series yet. “I think there’s no way you can tell the story just in eight episodes; it’s impossible.
