Oliver Bearman is getting to drive in another Formula 1 race this year! The 19-year-old driver made his F1 debut earlier this year with Ferrari, filling in for Carlos Sainz when he was out sick, and now he’ll be driving once again at the upcoming 2024 Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku. Oliver, who is a reserve driver for both Ferrari and Haas, will be jumping into the seat of a Haas car next weekend, as Kevin Magnussen received a race ban and will be unable to drive in that grand prix. The aim is to get out there and have a solid weekend in Azerbaijan.” At the Italian Grand Prix in Monza last weekend, Kevin received a 10 second penalty for hitting wheels with Pierre Gasly when tryin to pass.

This brought his penalty points to 12 for the season, causing the FIA to serve a race ban for the next race. Speaking of Monza, Oliver won his second Formula 2 race there that same weekend by taking first place in the sprint race.

When filling in for Sainz at Ferrari earlier this year, Oliver scored six points for the team after coming in seventh place.
