Oasis fans find 'tickets' on eBay for £180 – but are fuming at the small print

An eBay listing for what appeared to be Oasis "tickets" shows why you should always read the small print. It was chaos at the weekend, when people across the country were desperately trying to snap up tickets to the highly-anticipated reunion tour.

Unsurprisingly, all 17 dates sold out on the same day they were released. Britpop fans waited in virtual queues for hours as websites like Ticketmaster struggled to keep up with the ‘unprecedented demand’.

Then for some who got through, ‘dynamic pricing’ meant prices at checkout were "vastly inflated". With availability scarce and demand high, people have been trying to cash in on the situation.

Oasis has issued a stern warning against purchasing tickets from third-party sellers at exorbitant prices – but some fear there's little that can be done to stop touts.
