Nick Carter is reflecting on younger brother Aaron Carter‘s sudden and tragic passing. The “I Want Candy” singer died back in November 2022 at the age of 34.
In a new interview, Nick, 43, shared an update on how he and his family are coping after Aaron‘s death. Keep reading to find out more… “It’s definitely been tough for me and my family,” Nick shared with Entertainment Tonight. “It is still something that we are still processing, to this day.
I don’t think we will ever really get over it.” “It’s been a lot for us, and we are finding ways to try and take a really tragic situation in our family and do something with it,” Nick added. Nick has also gotten involved with On Our Sleeves, a foundation that works to help children mental and emotional health struggles. Aaron passed away in November 2022 and the official cause of death was drowning and contributing effects were difluoroethane and alprazolam, a generic form of Xanax. Aaron‘s former team said it was glad the autopsy results gave them closure. Aaron‘s ex-fiancee Melanie Martin released a statement in which she said the results don’t make sense.
In a recent interview, one of Nick‘s Backstreet Boys bandmates revealed he helped Aaron enter rehab back in 2017.
