North Ayrshire Council for their 'weak' response to a rat infestation on an Irvine estate.Key worker Lynn Mcallister first spied a rat in her neighbour's garden a month ago but claims she has since found more in her garden.The mother-of-two says more residents have complained on the area's online group about the growing pest problem and reckons the rat nest is far-stretching across Lanfine and the Girdle Toll area.Lynn said: "I reckon there are about 50 rats in the area.

After the chat online with other neighbours it's clear the problem is all over."It's a nightmare, I'm absolutely ill."When I first called the council, I was told it would take three days for someone to come out and I wasn't happy with that and someone said they would get.
