A mum was found murdered just days after getting married, heartbroken friends have said. The woman, named locally as Dawn Walker, was found dead near Halifax, west Yorkshire, on Sunday.

Her body was discovered in a dumped suitcase, friends said. READ MORE: A woman was hit in the leg with a man bag that was thrown from a car - what she found inside left her terrified Dawn is understood to have only got married last Wednesday, reports Yorkshire Live.

Shocked friends have now paid tribute - as police continue to quiz a man, 45, who was arrested on suspicion of her murder. Dawn was found dead in the Aysgarth Avenue area of Lightcliffe, near Brighouse.
