The mother of a teenager who took her own life has criticised the Crown Office over delays in starting the inquiry into the tragedy.Sophie Parkinson was just 13 when she died at her home on the outskirts of Dundee in 2014 after looking at online “suicide guides.”But six years later her heartbroken family are still waiting for answers about what happened and reassurances that it won’t occur again.This week, Sophie’s mum, Ruth Moss, revealed that she’s lodged formal complaints about the delay.Speaking outside Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday, Mrs Moss, who is set to be the lead witness at the inquiry that is due to start in two weeks, said:“It has been frustrating.
