Motorcyclist left in hospital following 'serious crash' in Lanarkshire

A motorcyclist has been hospitalised following a serious crash on a Lanarkshire road. The 63-year-old man was riding a white Yamaha motorcycle yesterday afternoon when he was struck by a car exiting the southbound M74 junction 7 slip road near Larkhall.

He was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Wishaw after emergency services raced to the scene at around 12.30pm.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Now, officers at the Road Policing Unit in Motherwell are continuing enquiries and appealing for information over the incident.
