Met Office yellow weather warning as Scotland faces gale force winds

The Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for wind in many places across Scotland. The forecasters predict strong winds in parts of the country today with a weather warning in place until 5pm this evening - Sunday November 7.

Areas of low pressure in the north of Scotland has resulted in strong winds throughout the weekend with much of us Scotland experiencing gale force winds throughout today, according to BBC Weather.The winds will bring gusts in excess of 70mph in many areas including Dundee, Perth, Aberdeen and Inverness as well as more more northern areas.

The very strong winds are likely to result in some travel disruption and dangerous coastal conditions across northern and eastern Scotland.
