Philippines director Mikhail Red is poised to begin shooting of “Deleter,” a film that straddles the techno-horror and psychological thriller genres.The story involves an online content moderator who deletes a suicide video made by her co-worker. But the otherwise desensitized woman cannot escape from either her own troubled past or from a mysterious vengeful presence.The film is scripted by Red and younger brother Nikolas Red.

The Kid LAROI and Fivio Foreign have released their collaborative single ‘Paris To Tokyo’, just shy of two months after the latter first teased it.On May 10, Foreign posted a TikTok of him and the Australian rapper (whose real name is Charlton Howard) working on the track’s accompanying music video. Though its titled wasn’t explicitly revealed at the time, Foreign hinted at it in the video’s caption, mentioning Paris, Tokyo and London.

Carter. The clip introduces us to the titular Agent Carter (played by Joo Won), who engages in non-stop intense physical combat, chases through the rural countryside and helicopter stunts, as he follows the instructions through the phone from an unknown female voice in order to avoid getting killed by the CIA.Carter, directed by The Villainess and Confession Of Murder‘s Jung Byung-gil, is slated to premiere on Netflix on August 5.The “one-scene, one-cut film” will follow Carter, who awakens two months into a deadly pandemic originating from the DMZ that has devastated both the US and North Korea, with no recollections of his past. He finds a mysterious device in his head, and a lethal bomb in his mouth.

Instagram yesterday (July 8), Depp’s new track is a cover of the titular 2003 song by English rock band Killing Joke.The track sees Depp reunite with longtime collaborator and guitarist Jeff Beck, and is expected to be lifted from the pair’s upcoming album, ‘18’. News of the joint album first circulated in 2021, and was officially confirmed for a July 15 release last month.In addition to ‘The Death And Resurrection Show’, the tracklist for ‘18’ will include the duo’s covers of The Beach Boys’ ‘Caroline, No’ and The Velvet Underground’s ‘Venus In Furs’, both of which were released late last month.Depp and Beck’s covers of Marvin Gaye and The Everly Brothers will likewise feature on the album, as well as the Depp original, ‘This Is A Song For Miss Hedy Lamarr’.

NBC, The Washington Post and other media outlets reported today that Japan’s former prime minister, Shinzo Abe, was shot while giving a speech in western Japan near Kyoto.
