Manchester council is seeking funding from the government’s £4.8bn Levelling Up Fund to progress regeneration projects in Withington and the city centre which could begin this year.

If successful, it is hoped that the schemes will build on existing efforts to revitalise parts of Manchester, create new jobs and support the city’s emergence from the Covid-19 pandemic.
