Jack Grealish has called on everyone in Great Britain to get behind Special Olympics GB after signing up to be a principal Ambassador for the charity.

The non-profit organisation works for 1.5 million people in the UK with intellectual disabilities by providing sports training and competition through the year.

And Grealish, whose sister Holly has cerebral palsy, has signed up to help raise awareness and drive inclusion so that more children and adults than ever before — from local competitions to elite levels — can get the sporting support and opportunities that they deserve.

Grealish, who became the most expensive player in British football history when Manchester City paid Aston Villa £100m for him in the summer of 2021, has taken on a three-year role where he will champion Special Olympics, a group powered by over 3,500 volunteers who support currently more than 6,500 athletes.
